Initiations

Initiations are provided for various sports, see schedule .

All registered participants can participate in these initiations, including sympathizers. A separate program is provided for children.

Recreational activities

All registered participants can participate in the recreational activities, including sympathizers. A separate program is provided for children.

Competitions

Transplant and dialysis patients and donors can participate in all competitions.

Sympathizers can participate in a large number of competitions. They compete for honor and also receive a souvenir. Transplant recipients, dialysis patients and donors will be honored during the medal ceremonies.

There are different categories provided for the competitions: transplant recipients, dialysis, donors and 'open'.

The program is designed to give as many participants as possible the opportunity to discover new activities and participate in as many competitions as possible. Please note: Some activities and events overlap! You will need to make a choice and register for only 1 event!

All event categories compete on the same day and at the same time. For some sports all categories have their own starts/heats/pools, but to save time, if possible, one start/heat can sometimes contain athletes from two or more age or event categories. They will be awarded a medal separately after the competition.

For example, the 5km Mini-Marathon, depending on the number of participants, can combine athletes from the Dialysis and Transplant categories into one start to make the event more fun and enjoyable for athletes.

Wall of Honour

Transplant recipients and donor families/friends are encouraged to write a message or make a card in honor of those who lost their lives and give the gift of life to others. The Donor Wall will provide an opportunity to honor these heroes and provide a place for reflection. (maximum size = A4)
